The company, founded in 2013, quickly gained traction and needed to build more features to keep up with demand. Product needs included improved workflow processes, diagnostics capabilities, and 3rd party database integrations. There aren’t many auto repairman turned software engineers so Shop-Ware needed a technical partner.
In 2018, Shop-Ware hired Admios to execute it’s product vision. A team of 5 developers worked with Shop-Ware’s CTO and lead engineer to build a number of new features: New shop management workflows - Quick vehicle lookup from plate number and VIN - Remote payment via phone (critical during COVID crisis) - Automated vehicle diagnostics - Integration with 3rd party database to manage auto parts - Streamlining Quickbooks accounting integration
The new product features allowed Shop-Ware to expand nationally across the US and into Canada helping auto shops increase productivity and customer satisfaction. Their growth and success has led to key partnerships with Bosch and Lyft. In 2019, Shop-Ware promoted their industry leading software at the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas.
